Now if only we could bring an octopus like Paul on gaming tables… Paul the octopus is being regaled highly for having predicted 8 out of 8 winners in the World Cup leading to the finals including the World Champion, Spain.

”Do not wait; the time will never be “just right’. Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.”
For business-minded employees believing in the same principle as Napoleon Hill, their aspirations have been answered. Starting a business is not as hard as you think. In fact, it might just be what you need to go through these hard times.
To promote the culture of entrepreneurship among its employees, PAGCOR’s Human Resource and Development Department has lined up a series of livelihood programs designed to enhance the knowledge of participants and provide them with a potential, alternative source of income.
For example, the upcoming seminars on Christmas décor making, gift wrapping and chocolate molding is just timely for the holidays. Somebody who’s interested in joining bazaars will find useful the scheduled lessons on fashion accessories, candle-making and homemade fragrances. For a business one can do right in the home, the company will offer courses on jam and jellies, pastries and meat processing
All of PAGCOR’s 13 branches will conduct seminars twice a month, with a minimum of 35-40 participants in one session. Acting Senior MWR Officer Felipe Riano said the livelihood program will start in PAGCOR-Davao on October 13 with meat processing unanimously chosen by the employees to be their first course.
